Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Miller joined Angeleno Group in May 2009 as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company. Mr. Miller has more than 17 years of management level experience in the investment industry, including significant experience with institutional and high net worth account management, hedge funds and private company investing. Prior to joining Angeleno Group, Mr. Miller was the Chief Financial Officer of affiliated companies MuniMac Management Group and Themis Asset Strategies, both alternative asset investment companies. Prior thereto, Mr. Miller was Chief Operating Officer of Transamerica Investment Management where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of this $12 billion firm. Before Transamerica, Mr. Miller was Chief Financial Officer for Kayne Anderson’s $6 billion collection of investment companies. Mr. Miller’s management experience began at the Pilgrim Group, a $3 billion mutual fund company, where he was Vice President of Accounting and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Miller began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and later worked as a Manager for Price Waterhouse. Mr. Miller has a B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Northridge, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Miller also holds a CPA designation in the State of California.
