Chuck Watson

Chuck Watson is Chairman and co-founder of Twin Eagle Resource Management, a Houston-based energy marketer established in 2010, which focuses on the purchase, distribution and sale of natural gas, coal and electric power. He was Chairman of Eagle Energy Partners, which he co-founded in 2003 and sold to Lehman Brothers in 2007. In 2008, Mr. Watson engineered the purchase of Eagle Energy Partners from Lehman Brothers and sale to Électricité de France (EDF). Mr. Watson was Chairman and CEO of Houston-based Dynegy Inc., an asset based, integrated energy provider. He established NGC Corp., Dynegy’s predecessor, in 1985 and served as Chairman and CEO until his departure in 2002. Earlier in his career, Mr. Watson worked at Conoco from 1972 – 1985. Mr. Watson currently serves on the boards of Baylor College of Medicine and Mainstream Renewable Power. He is a senior energy advisor to GSO/Blackstone and serves on the advisory council for DocuSign. He is the founder and chairman of Advanced Blast Protection Systems (ABPS), a company that developed new technology to greatly increase the protection tools available to those dealing with blast, fire and ballistic assaults. Mr. Watson served as governor, trustee and chairman of the Oklahoma State University Foundation and was inducted into the OSU Alumni Hall of Fame in 1997. In 2000 he served as vice chairman of the ownership group that brought the Texans NFL franchise to Houston. In 2001 he was inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame and named “Master Entrepreneur” by Ernst & Young. Mr. Watson has been a member of Angeleno Group’s Board of Advisors since 2005.
