Mr. Miller is the Chief Operating Officer of Angeleno Group, and responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business. Mr. Miller has more than 25 years of management level experience in the investment industry, including significant experience with private company investing, institutional and high net worth account management and hedge funds. Prior to joining Angeleno Group in 2009, Mr. Miller was the CFO of affiliated companies MuniMac Management Group and Themis Asset Strategies, both alternative asset investment companies. Previously, Mr. Miller was COO of Transamerica Investment Management where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of this $12 billion firm. Before Transamerica, Mr. Miller was CFO for Kayne Anderson’s $6 billion collection of investment companies. Mr. Miller’s management experience began at the Pilgrim Group, a $3 billion mutual fund company, where he was Vice President of Accounting and CCO. Mr. Miller began his career in public accounting becoming an Audit Manager at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Miller has a BS in Accounting from California State University, Northridge, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Miller also holds a Certified Public Accountant designation (inactive) in the State of California.
